Whenever I hear from couples who say : ‘My friend has a view cam, he’s going to record our wedding for free’. I can only keep my fingers cross and wish his/her friends know what they will be doing. You can’t redo your wedding day, it’s a once in a life time event. You just can’t “retake” those moments !!! and just because your friends or relatives own a view cam, that doesn’t make them a wedding videographer.
There is an incredible amount of emotion and excitement throughout the whole wedding day, and it deserves to be captured by someone who has lots of experience capturing these unscripted moments and who knows what they are doing, they can anticipate what & where’s going to happen and they will try to be a step ahead of whats going to happen.
With everything that’s going on throughout the wedding day, everything can be blur for the bride and groom, i know they would love to cherish their memories for a lifetime, that is why i take great pride in knowing that they will have a movie that can be watched over and over again when i deliver the DVD.
Everyone is special, that’s what makes every wedding such a fun to shoot. Mobility is one of my greatest assets when it comes to filming non scripted events like weddings. I am able to follow the action with long, graceful, flowing shots. , covering the morning games session, church ceremony, tea ceremony, dinner reception, speeches, dance , tears and laughter and others crazy moments. I am not limited to wherever i set the tripod down in hopes the action doesn’t stray too far from that point.
After all been said & done, the bride & groom are the main souce of inspiration that keep me going for each wedding. It feels incredible to be able to provide those memories for them to keep and cherish forever.
